Favorite Comfort Foods

There’s no better way to welcome a new neighbor or support a new mom, no more reliable cure for whatever ails you than classic comfort food—whether you make it in the traditional style like your mom used to or have your own way with a few shortcuts.

Comfort foods range from ice cream, peanut butter, and pancakes to pasta, meatloaf and meatballs. So forget the bucket of fast-food fried chicken and let me help you make your own comfort classics.

Anyone who knows me knows that I am all about easy, but never at the expense of quality and taste. Here are my go-to comfort foods that I hope you enjoy and perhaps bring you that feeling of contentment like nothing else on earth.

Beef Stew 2
A rich and traditional hearty Beef Stew with potatoes, onions & carrots. Perfect for one pot meals. Here’s the recipe.
A change from a more traditional chili, this Steak Tip Chili with Beans has just the right amount of warmth without too much heat. Here’s the recipe.
mac and cheese
A garlic kick brings this very cheesy Mac & Cheese to the next level. Here’s the recipe.
Mama’s Meatloaf is my go-to recipe for the the best and easiest meatloaf I can make. Here’s the recipe.
Shrimp and Lobster Scampi
This is an old favorite Shrimp Scampi recipe with the perfect addition of lobster. Add sun-dried tomatoes, squash, and a hint of lemon to make it beyond comforting. Here’s the recipe.
